Have you wondered how animals survive in their natural habitat? In this writing I will provide you with many reasons as to why animals survive in their natural habitat.

One animal is the cheetah. The cheetah is the fastest animal on the planet and it is a carnivore because it eats other animals. Their  speed helps them catch their prey. What if it had a slow body?. The cheetah’s shape and slim body helps it cut through the air. It is adapted to competing with other carnivores, like lions, leopards and hyenas. If the cheetahs were not adapted to their surrounding,  it would be very dangerous because they could become endangered or extinct.

Birds wings have limbs for flying,  these limbs are called wings. These wings come to good use when they are migrating. Some types of birds migrate why? It is because of seasonal changes. If it is too cold to raise their young, they would not survive. If birds didn’t migrate they will die when it is too cold. Some birds have long beaks to help them catch their prey e.g. the kingfisher survives by using its long beak to catch fish.

Ants collect food in summer because in winter their movement is limited. It's too cold for them to move around in winter. Ants are small but they are adapted to helping each other. Ants can collect more food if they work together. If one ant can’t move an insect others would come to help then they would be able to move it.
